Every pick we've ever published, revisited. Wins and losses stay up permanently — that's the whole point.

The Ledger exists for transparency, not as proof of skill. Past picks moving up doesn't mean future picks will — some of our calls will be wrong, and they'll stay on this table when they are. Full disclaimer.

How to read this: when we call a pick, we log what it was selling for that day. We check back at 4 weeks and 12 weeks to show where it went — up or down. Every pick stays, wins and losses.

How CardTargets Works

Simple weekly research, built for quick scanning.

Research

We pull recent sold-price data from public marketplaces and sold-comp databases, plus PSA population data, player performance, and hobby demand signals. Every buy range on this page traces back to dated sold prices you can expand and check.

Score

Each target gets a 50-point score: player outlook, card desirability, price opportunity, liquidity, and near-term catalyst. Scores vary because conviction varies — a board where everything is a 40/50 "medium risk" isn't research.

Publish & revisit

The site updates every Monday, and every past pick goes into the Ledger where we track how it aged. We don't delete the misses.

What the risk labels mean

Low: Established demand, stable comps, easy to resell. The downside is boredom, not a crater.
Medium: A real thesis that depends on performance or timing playing out. Normal position sizing.
High: Thin comps, binary outcomes, or a young market. Small positions only, and only if you like the story.

One collector, one research process, zero Lamborghinis.

CardTargets is an independent, one-person hobby research letter. We don't sell cards, we don't take payment to feature cards, and we don't own most of what we cover — when we do, we'll say so on the pick. Revenue comes from eBay affiliate links (disclosed above and next to every link) and, eventually, sponsors who are clearly labeled. The product is the filter: out of everything in the hobby, the few things worth your attention this week.
